Left and right rib attachment

T helped me today get some good progress on the wings. We started by riveting the left rear spar assembly on the left main ribs. We then proceeded to rivet the nose ribs onto the left spar.  Again it was very important to make sure the right rib was in the correct location. The left stub spar was then attached and the bushings placed in the ribs.

One question came up to how many nutplates should be on the selected ribs as on page 15-02.  The instructions there show 1 nutplate per each of the selected ribs, but in assembling the wing, page 15-04 instructions and figure show more than one nutplate attached per each of those ribs.  An email was sent to vans to clarify before I skin the wings.

We then started assembling the right wing, starting with the riveting of the right main ribs onto the right spar. The right rear spar assembly was then attached.

Time: 3.25 hrs.
